Senior Technical Consultant - Jersey Office
- Description: You will be an experienced IT professional, with an all round knowledge of IT systems, and with a minimum of 5 years experience. You wil have a keen interest and focus on IT Security procedures and practices. The role will encompass managing the technical support department, providing technical support to partners and end user customers, as well as developing product technical strategy and supporting the sales team with technical assistance and knowledge.
- Duties include: Managing the technical support helpdesk. Providing pre/post sale technical support and consultancy to resellers partners and customers on "best practice" for security and security products. Developing technical product and support relationships with Vendors. Providing training courses for reseller partners. Product beta testing, installations and configuration. Answering technical queries from customers and the internal sales team.
- Requirements: With a proven track record in IT (core operating, database and messaging systems absolutely essential), you will be a self-starter, highly motivated and with a passion for technical solutions. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and be presentable and quick to learn on the job.
