FlashID transforms any regular USB storage device (USB flash drive, USB key, USB disk, USB memory, USB pen drive etc.) into a high level security token, which can then be used in any application where two-factor authentication is required.
For example, your company uses Outlook Web Acess, and require more than just a simple username / password to control access. By providing your users with a FlashID token, you can require users to enter their username, password, PLUS a one-time password which can only be generated by their own FlashID token.

With FlashID, users have to provide both the USB key device itself and the USB key password in order to gain access to protected resources, such as Windows Logon, OWA, Remote Desktop, VPN and Web applications.
